Apple Third Largest PC Vendor in U.S., over Acer and Toshiba

Apple has gone through Acer and Toshiba, the third largest PC vendor in the United States with 10.7 percent market share.
Gartner's latest data quoted by Mashable, mentions, in the second quarter of 2011, Apple reached a solid 8.5 percent growth year-on-year in the U.S. market, while Toshiba's grew 3.3 percent. Acer is actually down 22.6 percent over the same period.

Dell still dominated the top positions which controls 22.6 percent of the market, and HP drew 26.9 percent of the PC market.
Around the world, according to IDC and Gartner, the top five PC vendors are HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, and Asus, while Apple is not included.

Very important to note, however, the worldwide market grew only 2.3 percent according to Gartner. As according to IDC PC growth of 2.6 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, Apple is growing much faster than other PC vendors.
One exception to this rule is Lenovo, which has a path of expansion beyond the Asia Pacific market. Trademark is entered into the third position in the global market with an amazing growth, 22.5 percent, according to Gartner, or 22.9 percent according to IDC.
